Photograph portrait by Olga Antipina

Born in Rome, Italy.

Currently living and working in Brooklyn, New York.

She graduated in 'Painting' at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma in 2010 and she received her Master Degree in 'Multimedia and Technological Arts' in 2013.

Her current works incorporate parts of her traditional painting, drawing and history studies with contemporary media and materials to create immersive installations, drawing viewers into dreamlike worlds of her design.  She is currently working mostly using metal forming and welding fabrication techniques.

'My work explores intimacy and investigates the relationship between opposing elements of the reality before us and the distorted perception created within our minds and dreams. Through creating visions of people and imaginary places, I focus attention on the relationship between the reality and what is indefinable. Perceptions, dreams, imagination, illusion, hallucination, grotesque, and amorphous forms are used to convey an intimate, yet alien atmosphere. I wish to create a relationship with the viewers, while pushing their limits of comfort. My intent is to form a space where all the confusion, uncertainty, and anxiety that comes from the distortion and skewing of perception are felt. While trained in painting and drawing, I use whatever material or medium I feel is needed to best realize my work.'
